NEW SYSTEM
Welcome to Styles, we use the most innovative, non-adhesive hair extension method available. Microlinks have received world recognition for their hair extension attachment method which has been used in Europe and Australia.
Microlinks are a strand-by-strand hair extension method that uses tiny color coated links for attachment. You simply thread the hair through the colored link and crimp it with crimping tool. We offer a variety of link colors so hair and links match making it almost impossible to see the attachment.
Microlinks eliminate pressure on the client's head by fitting the extensions precisely to the scalp. Once attached, they can be combed easily. Absolutely no glue, no wax, no polymers and no heat are used for attachment. In addition, no solvents are needed to remove the hair; just simple squeeze the link with a pliers in opposite direction it will loosen the tube and they simply slide the hair out.
We choose top-quality human hair - easy to care for and comfortable to wear. The hair is simple to apply and remove and can be reattached after several months of the client's wear.

1. Can I reuse the hair?
The neat thing about this system is that you can reuse the hair. Unlike any other system, the hair can be reused up to two-three times for blonde shades and up to three-four times for the darker colors.

2. Can I perm the hair?
Yes, you can do it, but commercial hair is very difficult to process. We recommend you order hair with the curl you desire.
3. Can I color hair?
Yes. It can be colored. It is recommended that you do not use any more than 20 volume peroxide. When going darker, you would apply color first on the hair without extensions for about 5 minutes and then apply everywhere else. When going lighter, apply color on the hair without extensions and wait 10 minutes before applying the rest. Check the hair more often than usual because the links are made of metal and will speed up the process of the reaction. If you see that the hair is getting to light to fast, just shampoo.

4. Can I use straightener on my hair?
Yes, but you should put it only on the new growth. It is very important with any process you choose, that you do not get any chemicals on the microlinks . It may cause them to break down and possibly fall out.

*Appointment times for extensions may vary. Our standard time is 4-6 hrs. We recommend our complementary consultation prior to service. There is a $150 deposit for your hair. We custom pick your hair and for this reason hair deposits are non-refundable. Also, many of the human hair suppliers do not allow refunds once we have purchased the hair. We recommend for first time hair extension clients to take two ibuprofens prior to service. You're welcomed to bring a snack. We will provide a beverage.
